2021 COVID-19 Protocols

To ensure the health and safety of our staff and campers, and to allow us to have the maximum possible fun this year, we will be upholding new procedures this camp season.

PRIOR TO ARRIVAL

  • Symptom Monitoring/High-Risk Individuals

  • COVID-19 Vaccination (if eligible)

  • COVID-19 Test

    • All campers and staff are required to have a COVID-19 test administered within 48 hours prior to the date of arrival. 

    • After the test is administered, you must limit contact as much as possible until results are in.

    • Proof of administration will be required.

  • Exposure Disclosure

    • All campers and staff are required to report any known exposure to the COVID-19 virus for the past 30 days.

  • Forms & Waivers

    • Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/ COVID-19 must be filled out and emailed, mailed, or brought to check-in.

DURING CAMP

  • COVID-19 Test

    • All campers and staff will receive a COVID-19 test administered on the first full day of camp.

    • After the test is administered, all staff and campers will continue to maintain social distance by staying 6 feet apart while wearing face coverings.

    • Once we receive all test results, and if all test results are negative, Camp Meraki can continue business as usual! This means socially distancing and face coverings will no longer be required!

Final Show

  • There will be no in-person final show, but we will have a virtual final show for parents to enjoy once the 

Pick Up & Move Out

  • Staggered Pick-Up

    • You will receive a time window for your arrival to camp. 

    • Minimize the time they take to pick up campers to allow for the continual flow of traffic.

    • Stay close to or inside their vehicles, if possible.

    • Maintain physical distance with other parents/guardians and campers.

    • Wear a cloth face covering when exiting the vehicle.

  • Check-Out

    • Parents must wash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol upon entry to the drop-off area before coming to the Check-Out station.

  • Personal Items 

    • Campers’ personal items will be put in the drop-off area 6 feet apart.

    • Parents can retrieve personal items at the allotted pick-up time.
